The next event will be on 5th December,2011 at COSTECH.

Our exciting speakers for the evening are:

Joseph will introduce us into Open Government Partnership, which Tanzania entered just last week, and he’ll highlight some ways how technology can enhance openness.

Mr Edwin Mugerezi, Managing Director of InfoBridge Consultants Ltd.
Edwin will present mobile solutions for mapping media content and points of interest with GPS positioning.

They did the project together with World Bank and Twaweza and it’s planned to be expanded to larger regions in Dar and Tanzania. Read the World Bank blog story for background.
